About us
Hello... We are Paul & Sheila Wilshaw, we arrived at our new home the shoulder of mutton, Grandborough in January 2007. We have three children Sam 20, Sophie 15 and max 7 and a Springer spaniel called thunder.
Paul has been in the hotel and catering trade for the last 30 years, most of them within the kitchen or involved with hotel management and when ever a spare moment appears he’s tinkering with a motorcycle (more on that later), Sheila has also been in the hotel and catering industry from a chambermaid to a reception manager at Walton hall, she’s also been a postie, her passion is golf and making puddings.
When we came to grandborough we wanted to provide a warm welcome with fresh food well cooked, we Endeavour to use local suppliers and always listen to our customers.
- We use a butcher and green grocer from Rugby
- We get free range eggs from Tim and Janet in the village
- We get lamb from Willoughby and trout from Draycote.
- We make almost all of the meals & puddings on the menu.
